Job Description: Java Game Design Developer
Our customer is a company that specializes in creating and modifying games using Java. They are looking for a talented and passionate Java game design developer to join their team and work on exciting projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test Java-based games and applications
- Collaborate with other developers, artists, and designers to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences
- Implement and optimize game features, graphics, sound, and user interface
- Debug and fix issues and bugs
- Research and learn new technologies and tools to improve game quality and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Design, or related field
- Proficient in Java programming and object-oriented design
- Experience in game development using Java frameworks and libraries such as LibGDX, LWJGL, or Slick2D
- Knowledge of game design principles, algorithms, data structures, and patterns
- Familiarity with game engines, graphics, sound, and physics
- Creative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Portfolio of previous game projects
