Job Description: Freelance Game Developer
Our customer is a company based in Morocco that creates innovative and engaging games for various platforms. They are looking for a freelance game developer who can help them design, develop, and test games.
Responsibilities
- Work with the existing team to understand the game concept, vision, and requirements
- Use game engines, frameworks, and tools to create game prototypes and demos
- Implement game features, mechanics, UI, and assets according to the game design document
- Debug, optimize, and polish the game to ensure high performance and quality
- Collaborate with other developers, artists, and testers to deliver the game on time and within budget
Requirements
- Proven experience as a game developer, with a portfolio of completed games or game projects
- Proficient in one or more game engines, such as Unity, Unreal, Godot, etc.
- Familiar with various programming languages, such as C#, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of game design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with good communication and time management skills
- Passionate about games and eager to learn new technologies and skills
